Terms of Service

This is the plain-English version of what you're agreeing to when you buy a billboard on MillionPixelSquare. Short and honest, on purpose.

What you're buying

You're buying the right to display one static image and one outbound link on a specific billboard slot in the scene, subject to our content policy and moderation. You're not buying the underlying pixels, the domain, or any equity in MillionPixelSquare.

Permanent placement

Once your creative is approved and live, your board stays up for as long as MillionPixelSquare exists — minimum 5 years from your go-live date. That's the promise the original Million Dollar Homepage made, and we're keeping it — as long as your board stays within our content policy. A policy violation forfeits that placement (see below); this promise doesn't apply to a board we've had to take down.

One link per board

Each board carries exactly one outbound link. We don't support multiple links, popups, or redirects-to-redirects on a single slot.

Moderation & removal

Your creative goes live the moment you upload it — see our content policy for the rules it has to follow. We actively review published boards. If a minor issue slips through, we'll take the board down, without refund, tell you why, and you'll get a chance to fix and re-upload — it goes live again immediately. For a clear policy violation (the banned categories listed in our content policy), we reclaim the slot instead: it goes back on the market for someone else to buy, you keep no rights to it, and — as above — you are not refunded. We may also bar the email or account behind a violation from buying or submitting to MillionPixelSquare again.

No resale of banned content

You may not use your board to promote adult content, scams, crypto pump schemes, or any activity we'd reject under the content policy — including if you resell, sublease, or hand off control of your board to someone else.

Payment

Slots are held for 15 minutes during checkout and paid for via Stripe. See our refund policy for what happens if you change your mind.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [TODO: jurisdiction].
